• The leather of your Delvaux is a natural and sensitive material. A light finish has been applied to reveal the leather’s natural beauty. To preserve your product, we recommend that you avoid any contact with water, grease, perfume, make-up or products containing alcohol.
• Do not expose your bag to intense heat or direct sunlight, which could alter its colour and shape.
• If the leather comes into contact with water, gently dab it with a light, soft, lint-free cloth to prevent staining. Leave it to air dry, away from any sources of heat.
• Avoid prolonged contact between light and dark colours, which could lead to colour transfer between your bag and your clothes.
• To preserve the shape of your Delvaux bag, make sure you don’t overfill it or overload it with heavy objects.
Maintaining your Delvaux
• Wipe your bag regularly with a soft, lint-free cloth before storing it.

Has your bag been stained or damaged? Don’t attempt to repair it yourself, as this may cause further damage. The artisans in our workshop will be happy to repair or restore it for you. Contact our customer service or visit your local boutique to drop off your companion. We will then give it the full attention it deserves.

Embroidery
Never crush, knock or flatten the embroidery on your Delvaux while wearing or storing it.
Shearling
If your shearling bag gets wet, dab it gently with an absorbent cloth, then leave it to air dry.
Cashmere & Silk
Pieces made from silk or cashmere are particularly delicate. They should be carefully folded and laid flat to avoid any deformation.
Metal accessories
Wipe the hardware with a microfibre cloth to remove any fingerprints. In the event of contact with a corrosive or chemical product (perfume, alcohol, bleach, etc.), rinse immediately with water and dry gently.
Wicker
Dust your bag with a soft bristle brush or feather duster. If it comes into contact with water, dab gently with an absorbent cloth to prevent staining.
Rhinestones
To preserve the brilliance of the crystals adorning your Delvaux, take care never to crush them and avoid impact with hard surfaces.
Jacquard
If the jacquard has gotten wet, dab it with a soft, clean cloth to absorb the moisture, then leave it to air dry away from any source of heat.
Canvas
Lightly dampen a soft, light-coloured cloth, then gently rub your canvas to revive its freshness.
Felt
Remove any dust from the felt by using a soft bristle or adhesive brush. In the event of a stain, wipe immediately with a damp cloth, which can be soaked in mild soap if necessary.
